Yamaha unveil More Music ! -  pioneering artist development scheme connecting major artists and industry professionals with music education and educators

Yamaha Music have unveiled More Music ! a pioneering Artist in Education innovation that brings together the company's wide ranging and acclaimed educational programmes under one banner. The scheme will become an incubator and inspiration for many by connecting knowledge-hungry emerging talent with established artists and top-level industry practitioners including promoters, producers and live sound engineers .

More Music ! will also become the platform for many of the  existing education activities offered by Yamaha, harnessing the company's international artist roster and connecting this unique asset with up-coming musicians, songwriters and composers across all genres. Yamaha is already working with many of the UK's top names in the business and engaging them in music education work, these include, amongst many others Jamie Cullum, Chris Martin,Paolo Nutini, Julian Joseph, Jools Holland and the Philharmonia. Yamaha's acclaimed conservatoire and specialist music school Scholarship programme will also be covered by the scheme.

Central to the More Music! scheme is a pledge between Yamaha and its supported artists and organisations to inspire more new people into music making and to  play an active role in education work.

Bill Martin Comments " More Music! brings together and showcases the scope, value and reach of our educational work, it is a substantial programme that will extend and expand our commitment in assisting and supporting up-coming new talents and music teachers. Connecting everything together will ensure that we achieve extra impact and increase the overall value of our commitment to more musicians and educators alike."

More Music !
is already participating in many partnerships and learning support schemes with leading venues, organisations and festivals including the Federation of Music Services, Jazz Services, Cheltenham Jazz Festival, London's 606 Jazz Club, The Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts and Music Quest.
