Jamie Cullum is to perform an exclusive Christmas concert at Yamaha Music London on December 4th to raise funds for Centrepoint, the leading charity that helps homeless young people in the UK.
This special event will take place in Yamaha Music London's historic piano hall and will be limited to 100 guests to ensure the show will be truly unique and personal.
Jamie will perform a bespoke set for the event which could include material from his critically acclaimed album 'Momentum' released earlier this year along with some seasonal favourites.
All monies raised from the event will go to Centrepoint to help support their invaluable work in giving homeless young people a positive future.
Jamie comments, “I am delighted to be supporting Centrepoint once again. The charity does great work with young people and it's a privilege to be able to play my part. Returning to the piano hall at Yamaha Music London is always a pleasure - a beautiful and unusual performance space”.
The show is the first in the Yamaha Music London – Centrepoint sessions planned for 2014. A number of major artists are set to perform at regular events throughout the year.
Yamaha Music London, ‘the world's most inspiring music store’ is located in the heart of Soho and is one of a select international network of Yamaha flagship stores throughout the world. Encompassing three floors of musical instruments, sheet music and accessories, the store is without parallel and is widely regarded as one of the best in the world.
John Raynham, Head of Funding at Centrepoint, said: “A show-stopping performance from Jamie Cullum is the perfect way to kick-off the Yamaha-Centrepoint concert series and the count down to Christmas. We’re very grateful to him for lending us his time and talent so more young people can leave homelessness behind.”
Demand for the limited number of tickets will be very high so early booking is essential.
