The French pianist Emeline Archambault performs regularly as soloist and in a vast number of collaborations with instrumentalists and singers, playing in various formations a wide repertoire. She has given numerous public performances in England; at the Aldeburgh Festival for the Britten-Pears Artist Programme, in Bristol Cathedral and in London (The Forge, Southside House's Musical Season, Depford Town Hall,The Chamber Music Season of St Peter's and many others). Emeline has also performed abroad, in New York (Dillon Gallery), in France (Suresnes Theatre, Ecole Normale Supérieure of Paris, Théâtre de Bougival, Festival de Ouessant, Rencontres Musicales “Les Hôtels Particuliers”, Les Petites Saisons de la Roquette), in Spain (Palau de la Musica Catalana of Barcelona, Auditorium Joaquim of Valencia), in Italy (Festival Dino Ciani - Alexander Girardi Hall of Cortina d'Ampezzo) or in Switzerland. In 2010 she received the 2nd Harold Craxton prize in London.
Emeline started her piano studies under the tutelage of Florence Millet (Cologne Hochschule) and pursued her musical training since then in different institutions such as Boulogne-Billancourt Conservatoire and Rueil-Malmaison Conservatoire (Denis Pascal's piano class), where she unanimously achieved piano, chamber music, aural and analysis prizes. Interested in a wide range of different perspectives on music, she then decided to continue her studies in London, where she achieved a Bachelor of Music with Honours (Guildhall School of Music and Drama, in Martin Roscoe’s class), followed by a Master of Music degree at the Royal Academy of Music, studying with Carole Presland. She is now obtaining her Master in Pedagogy at the Haute Ecole de Musique of Geneva, in the class of Dominique Weber.
Alongside her studies, Emeline has also been mentored by great personalities such as Ferenc Rados, Pascal Devoyon, Jean-Claude Pennetier or Claudio Martinez Mehner. She is now working on a project of musical and poetry performance, centered on the 19th century Symbolist poet Stéphane Mallarmé, reflecting her passion for allowing different forms of art to encounter, soon to be presented in various French festivals.
