Natalie McCool's Electro-Acoustic Guitar Workshop
Saturday 12th September 2015, 4:00pm
Natalie McCool is a multifaceted artist whose musical journey of discovery through varied collaborations has now landed her on the most ambitious sound to date. Excelling in razor-sharp alt-pop production developed with Dave Berger from seminal Liverpool alt pop band Outfit, the new recordings have every hallmark of great pop music with a fresh twist of modern alternative influences.
‘Oh Danger’ is the new track from Natalie McCool and follows on from blog favourite ‘Pins’ which was a suitably prickly lament towards a faltering relationship, that ebbs and flows with an engrossing charm akin to Tove Lo or Lana Del Rey. This charm was not lost on Huw Stephens at Radio One who declared it ‘brilliant’ before playing the track on his show a number of times. ‘Pins’ came after the widely acclaimed ‘Dig it Out’, a dark ballad with syncopated vocal and shadowy video (released on Young and Lost Club), described by The Sunday Times as a ‘Mesmerising lilt-pop gem’.
On 12th September, Natalie will be instore performing and answering questions on electro-acoustic guitars - a brilliant opportunity to get essential advice from an up-and-coming professional artist.

Alex Wesley on L Series & Silent Guitars
Saturday 12th September 2015, 12:30pm

On 12th September, Alex will be instore performing on our award-winning Silent and 5-Star-rated L Series guitars - a session not to be missed.

Exclusive Yamaha THR100H Guitar Amp Launch
Saturday 12th September 2015, 3:00pm - Tommy Gentry Demonstrates
Sunday 13th September 2015, 12:30pm - Ross Bailey Demonstrates
A great amp always has a certain something. More than just great tone, it has dynamics that breathe life into every note and give punch to every chord. With our new THR amp heads, our engineers have captured the component-level interaction between the speakers and the power amp (the murky world known as the damping factor) and tuned it to perfection, achieving a new level of performance excellence, even at low volumes.

Yamaha Guitar Tech In Store & On Hand
There's a reason every touring guitarist has a guitar tech on hand; a properly-setup guitar feels better, sounds better and plays better - the way the original luthier intended. But most guitars in the world haven't been set up since leaving the original workshop - making playing harder for their owners.
Coinciding with the London Acoustic Show and the launch of our instore Guitar Service Centre, we'll have Yamaha Guitar Techs instore, ready to set up your Yamaha guitar (old or new) and talk you through the key steps of keeping your guitar at its best.
Sunday's Lineup:

Yamaha Classical Guitars with Sam Rodwell

On 13th September, prize-winning classical guitar virtuoso Sam Rodwell will be instore, putting our range through its paces, and answering your questions about the guitars and about playing technique.
