The 5 ‘X’ models Yamaha SPX effects - 4 of these also feature a class-leading 24bit, 192KHz USB 2.0 audio interface compatible with Windows, OSX and iPads and iPhones. All 10 models boast our state-of-the-art Class-A D-PRE microphone preamps which use inverted Darlington circuit technology. These are the same as found on our high-end commercial mixing consoles - giving you more power with lower impedance, fat, natural sounding bass, rich mids, smooth, soaring highs all with minimal distortion. D-PRE preamps ensure the music you play is the music you record.
