The Sound Designer Pack features two flagship Steinberg software packs - WaveLab Pro 9, which gives you absolute control over audio, and Cubase Pro 9, which gives you full tracking and mixing capabilities, along with a wide array of different sound sources. Also included is our compact but powerful MX49 Mk II synthesizer - giving you a huge range of sounds from our flagship Motif synthesizers and a keyboard that can also be used to MIDI-control the virtual instruments and effects.
For recording, the pack includes RØDE's brilliant NT1 condenser microphone and a pair of RØDE M5 mics along with a reflection filter, microphone stands and cables. The included UR44 audio interface gives you 4 class-leading microphone preamps and two line-level inputs for true multi-channel capture.
And crucially, the pack includes both Yamaha HS5 monitor speakers and a MT7 studio headphones - letting you hear your work in incredible detail at any time of day or night.

Cubase Pro 9 and WaveLab Pro 9 include the Educational Licences only; proof of eligibility will be required during registration and product setup. Eligible for educational licences are teachers, educators, currently enrolled full-time students of universities. Also currently enrolled full-time students and teachers at public and private (music) schools and the SAE Institutes are eligible.
A Mac or Windows PC is required.
