Merry, Merry Chiming Bells is scored for S.A.T.B. Choir, optional Bells and Organ (or Piano). American composer, Armand Russell, has written a number of choral pieces over the last few years and Merry, Merry Chiming Bells was composed in 2010/11. Set to a text by Fanny J. Crosby (1874), this lively and accessible Christmas piece includes optional bells, played by a tenor and a bass, and would be suitable for any choir or audience. It could also be successfully performed by solo voices and there is much to enjoy and few technical challenges. A new Christmas piece which would fit easily into any school, church or choral concert.
