Yamaha Music London are thrilled to announce the launch of our new ‘Play at Work’ programme in collaboration with Warner Music.
It is widely recognised that learning and practising how to play a musical instrument has countless benefits to a person’s social, physical and psychological wellbeing. In today’s busy professional environments, corporations are constantly looking for new ways to encourage staff to take a break from their desk and focus on a creative and enjoyable past time. Warner Music are at the forefront of this kind of thinking, and as such were a perfect organisation for Yamaha Music London to launch our ‘Play at Work’ programme.
On Friday 27th November, Warner took delivery of a brand new Yamaha
NU1 upright Hybrid Piano along with two Yamaha acoustic guitars; and
LL6 and and
APX500. Over the coming months Warner staff will have the opportunity to take lessons on the instruments (situated in their award winning offices) and benefit from the advantages of taking this precious time to relax focus on a new creative pursuit.
In fact, the programme has been so popular that Warner have had to double the amount of lessons they were initially going to offer, as over 60 people have already signed up to take part!!
We look forward to hearing more about the progress of the students and the impact that the programme is having on people’s professional and personal wellbeing.
