People working in the entertainment industry have been hit hard by the lockdown restrictions. As well as entertaining his audience, Tom is delighted to be able to help support the artists and engineers working on his filming projects during this difficult time. However, rest-assured the people involved are doing everything they can to stay safe and adhere to the government guidelines.
Are we allowed to do this?
Yes. Updated government guidance includes changes to restrictions that came into force on 29 March 2021. We will ensure that Tom and his band adhere to the regulations during filming work.
Indoor Policy
Face coverings are required to worn by everyone (except Tom and the band whilst performing), at all times, and on public transport.
No audience or members of the public are to be present.
The show is being produced with as few people as possible, one camera operator and assistant. All people involved are able to work 2m apart.
Where appropriate, masks and protective gloves are being provided.
Hand sanitiser and regularly cleaned toilet facilities are being provided.
People working on the show are required to bring their own food and drink.
Risk management
Tom and his team are regularly monitoring government websites and reputable news outlets to ensure that they are working with the latest accurate information in relation to pandemic guidance.
A full risk assessment will be carried out before each project. This assessment takes into account the following points.
Anyone working on the show will have to fill out a questionnaire confirming that they show no symptoms of COVID-19 and they haven’t been in contact with anyone who has tested positive for the illness within the previous 14 days.
Before producing the show the stock levels of hand sanitiser, face-masks and paper towels will be checked.
