Answer
The diameter of the stem is the same on both the DS750 and DS950 and so it's possible to attach the DS750 base to the seat of the DS950. But, the DS750 base, whilst stable enough for the DS750 seat, wouldn't be stable enough for the DS950 seat:
- The feet on the DS750 base don't open as wide as those for the DS950
- There are only 3 legs on the DS750 compared to four on the DS950
- The DS950 seat top is large & square(ish) compared to a compact round seat top on the DS750
So, whilst it's possible to connect the base of the DS750 with the top of the DS950, we don't recommend doing so, due to strength, stability and, ultimately, safety concerns.
