Now in its fourth successful year, this flagship competition continues to discover and champion the next wave of Yamaha Music London Ambassadors—an ever-growing collective of artists who are redefining the future of music across genres, from cutting-edge pop and rock to jazz, soul, and beyond.
Three exceptional acts will be selected as Yamaha Music London Ambassadors for 2026, unlocking unrivalled industry access, expert mentorship, and career-defining experiences.

Last year’s Ambassadors—Cian Downing, Codyy, Kevin Davy White, Matt Kent, and Liv Lester—have gone on to perform at prestigious music venues across London and Europe, received industry mentorship, released critically praised new music, and created professional music videos in collaboration with Yamaha Music London.

In return, Ambassadors will document their journey, create original content, share regular updates across Yamaha Music London’s social channels, and collaborate closely with the Yamaha Music London team on exciting creative projects. The Live Rounds
Finalists will be invited to compete in a high-energy live showcase, performing original material in front of a panel of respected industry professionals.
Please note: If selected, applicants must be available to perform at one of two semi-finals taking place between 18–20 March at a central London venue, with the final held on 26 March at Yamaha Music London.
From these live rounds, three winners will be crowned Yamaha Music London Ambassadors for 2026.
Who We’re Looking For
You’re a UK-resident, 18 or over, and able to travel easily to London.
You’re a solo artist or duo (no backing bands), ready to share your unique sound.
You can confidently play live at least one instrument (ideally more than one) and have strong musical ability.
You’ve built a catalogue of original music and you’re excited to show it to the world.
If shortlisted, you’ll be happy to perform in one of two semi-finals taking place between 18-20 March and a grand final in London taking place on 26 March 2026.
You’re available throughout the year, and comfortable being called on occasionally at short notice to take part in Yamaha Music London activities.
You’re keen to create content at our Wardour Street store at least once a month, and open to representing Yamaha Music London at events, campaigns, or shoots from time to time.
You’re fully available to take part in your showcase video and Yamaha Music London’s 2026 online campaign, in London — this is an essential and exciting part of the Ambassadorship.
You have active, public social media accounts (such as Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube) and enjoy sharing your musical journey.
Everything you create is original, positive, and family-friendly.
Yamaha Music London and Yamaha employees (and their immediate families) can’t enter — but we’ll be cheering you on!
The prize package is non-transferable, with no cash or alternative prize available.
By applying, you’re confirming you’re excited, ready, and able to step into the role of a Yamaha Music London Ambassador and bring your creativity, professionalism, and energy along with you.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Applicants must be UK resident, aged 18 or over, and within easy reach of London.
The competition is open to solo artists and duos only. Backing bands are not permitted.
Applicants must demonstrate strong musical ability and be able to perform confidently live on at least one instrument.
A substantial catalogue of original music is required, and applicants should be ready to showcase their work.
Shortlisted artists will be required to participate in two semi-finals and a grand final in London on week commencing 16th March.
Successful applicants must be available throughout the year, including at times on short notice, to support Yamaha Music London activities.
Ambassadors will be expected to create content at Yamaha Music London’s Wardour Street store at least once per month. From time to time, Ambassadors may also be invited to represent Yamaha Music London at events, campaigns, performances, or promotional shoots.
Availability for the Yamaha Music London online marketing campaign and your showcase video is essential. Filming will take place at a time determined by Yamaha Music London in London, and participation is a mandatory element of the Ambassadorship.
Applicants must have active, public social media profiles (including Instagram, TikTok, and/or YouTube) and be willing to share their musical journey.
All content created as part of the Ambassadorship must be original, positive, and family-friendly.
Employees of Yamaha Music London or Yamaha, and their immediate family members, are not eligible to enter.
The prize package is non-transferable and no cash or alternative prize, monetary or otherwise, will be offered.
By entering the competition, applicants confirm they are willing and able to fulfil the responsibilities of a Yamaha Music London Ambassador and to represent the brand with professionalism, creativity, and enthusiasm.
HOW TO ENTER
Submit a video lasting between 1-3 minutes, showcasing your musical skills playing an instrument, performing your own original music.
