Yamaha announces the launch of the PSR-E583 and PSR-E483, the latest additions to the PSR-E series. Both keyboards feature touch-sensitive keys, over 800 Voices, 345 preset Styles and Super Articulation Lite Voices, delivering professional sound in a portable format.
Designed for intuitive control and creative freedom, the PSR-E series supports players at home and on stage with hands-on performance features and an easy-to-use interface.
Their powerful sound engine, and wide array of controls onboard, make them ideal for beginner and intermediate level keyboardists looking for a tool to develop their creativity and musicianship.
Both keyboards include an upgraded range of Voices and Style presets, so that you can play any song or genre. They also include a variety of Voices for local music allowing you to play music across the globe, especially in the PSR-E583. In addition, the high-quality Super Articulation Lite Voices faithfully recreates the sounds of non-keyboard instrument, like the scratch of the strings of a guitar or the performer’s breath when playing a wind instrument.
Auto Chord Play automatically plays back a predetermined chord progression while you are playing a Style, freeing both of your hands to solo or experiment, without worrying about playing the changes. You can also record your own chord progressions and loop them or switch between them, thanks to the Looper function.
The assignable Live Control Knobs and Pitch Wheel allow you to modify your sound on the fly. Its Motion Effects allow you to add pre-programmed effects like phasers or tremolos that add movement to your sound. And the PSR-E583 even includes an additional modulation wheel, the possibility to connect an expression pedal, and a more powerful speaker system, to give you even more options when performing live.
If you want to start producing your own tracks, the PSR-E483 and 583 are great partners for the task. Thanks to Track Control, you can turn on and off different parts of the style, change instrument voices of each track or modify their volume, turning your keyboard into a full production tool. And with Quick Sampling, you can record a short musical phrase with your phone’s mic and trigger it whenever you want. You can even sync it to the style you are playing.
