Revstar guitars are different by design. Like the customised café racer motorcycles which inspired them, the guitars are stripped-down performance machines. Custom hardware, hand-applied finishes, and custom-wound pickups give each model a unique look and sound that stands apart from the crowd. Every detail speaks to the finest traditions of Japanese craftsmanship and our half-century heritage of guitar design. The result is a series purpose-built to express the personality of each player. Offering a range of essential tones and unexpected styles, Revstar guitars invite players to meet their other half.
The 700-series models offer Revstar’s custom-tuned style and playability with the unique sound and feel of a Bigsby bridge. The RS720BX mixes up the original RS720B’s combination of specially voiced low-output pickups and a flamed maple top with the classic look of a solid gloss finish, and Yamaha Guitar Development VH5+ medium output Alnico V humbuckers for guitarists who want the power to coax an amp into overdrive. A push-pull switch on the tone knob engages the Dry Switch filter, providing tonal flexibility without the compromises of a coil tap. A deluxe gig bag is included.
