We were delighted to be part of a very special evening in partnership with the English National Opera.
Sir John Tomlinson, one of the ENO's most long-standing and illustrious singers, spoke about his favourite operatic roles and regaled the audience - made up of many of the ENO's generous patrons - with fascinating insights and hilarious anecdotes about his extensive time with the company.
Sir John also treated us to performances of some of his own favourite arias, all within the intimate surroundings of the Danziger Suite at London's famous May Fair Hotel, accompanied by a beautiful Yamaha C1X Grand played by pianist Caroline Jaya-Ratnam.
The piano was provided by Yamaha Music London, our flagship European store. Our partnership with the English National Opera began in 2016; since then, we've been frequently and actively involved in supporting a wide range of ENO events.
