We are very excited to announce the re-opening of our new and re-energised store. Yamaha Music London has been designed to put you, our customer at the forefront of everything we do. The new store will not only inspire you to find the perfect instrument but will give you the opportunity to play in one of our try-out rooms, to record and share your performances and express your passion for music without distractions.
The ground floor provides a warm welcome to “pre-beginners” wanting to discover an instrument to suit them under the guidance of our experts and to all those who want to enjoy musical instruments. Registered members can check in at the door using their “Yamaha Music ID” to enjoy special benefits such as unique gifts, music lessons and more. Find out how you can register here
There is a new “Yamaha Stage” performance space which means that we will be hosting live music and events throughout the year.
Putting a new spin on home entertainment, the dedicated AV gaming area features the room-filling sounds of Yamaha True X/Dolby Atmos Demo technology!
You will also find Europe’s largest selection of digital pianos, including pianos simply perfect for beginners.
Take a trip down to the basement and prepare to be “wowed” by our new dedicated guitar area and re-enhanced display of Europe’s biggest selection of Yamaha guitars. You will also find leading models of Yamaha guitars, displays of vintage guitars and the new “Guitar Lab” where there will be a Master Luthier offering guitar set up, maintenance and servicing support.
A new “content creation zone”, the first of its kind in a Yamaha Group store, provides a permanent in-store recording booth with Yamaha audio equipment and cameras for customers that want to share and post photos and videos of themselves playing Yamaha musical instruments on social media.
Up the sweeping staircase to the first floor which proudly boasts hundred-year-old architecture and is home to our very photogenic piano showroom with around thirty acoustic pianos. The superb acoustics, ensure that listening to the sounds of Yamaha and Bösendorfer pianos will be an unforgettable experience.

GINZA EVENT
To celebrate the renewal and reopening of Yamaha Music London, the “Ginza X London Remote Live” performance was held in the stunning piano showroom in collaboration with the Yamaha Ginza Shop.
Disklavier™pianos at both venues were connected online using their automatic performance function and classical pianist Callum Mclachlan in London and jazz musician Rina in Ginza each gave a performance.
The advanced grand piano, DC 6X Disklavier™ is capable of recording and playback to recreate performances in exact detail.
