Yamaha Music has launched an exciting new retail space within its inspirational flagship Wardour Street store. Yamaha Music London is inviting beginners and pro musicians to discover the stunning new zone which showcases Yamaha’s cutting edge music-creation instruments and gear, including award-winning guitars, the extensive Line 6 range, drums, synthesizers, professional audio equipment and music production tools.
The Yamaha RS320 - the first model in the stunning Revstar Guitar range in the attention-demanding Stock Yellow finish.
The new store features the largest range of Yamaha and Line 6 guitars anywhere - all ready for visitors to try.
The new visual identity has been developed in partnership with Yamaha Corporation Japan, Yamaha Guitar Group and retail design agency, MindBomb. The updated design successfully fuses Japanese tradition with Yamaha’s impressive heritage of craftsmanship and technology.
One of the accent colours used in the scheme references the iconic crimson red sun featured on the Japanese flag. The black slatted walls give the flavour of traditional Japanese teahouses. Specially commissioned photography filmed on location in Japan has been used to create giant urban backdrops. The atmospheric mono-toned images capture the speed and excitement of urban life and dramatic cityscapes.
The updated visual identity will be introduced across Yamaha retail spaces and point of sales fixtures across Europe from 2018 onwards.
