Yamaha’s V5SC acoustic violin is an all handcrafted violin that delivers outstanding tone, quality, and features that are usually found on instruments that are more expensive. Perfect for the student violinist, the V5SC features a Spruce top along with Maple back and neck that are made from select materials. Every instrument is painstakingly crafted by hand utilising the same traditional methods as used on high quality violins then finished with an oil varnish that is carefully applied by brush. Designed, sized, and priced for young learners, the V5SC is an excellent choice for students, providing them with a quality instrument that will get them off to a great start.

To make sure you have all you need to get started, the V5SC comes complete with a lightweight, water-resistant case for transporting and storing the instrument. Also included is a high-quality bow and world renowned 'Pirastro' rosin

Applied by hand to maximize its affect, the finish enhances the instrument’s response and articulation while adding a beautiful glossy appearance.
Easy Tuning For Beginners with Tailpiece Adjusters
Tuning for beginners can be a frustrating experience, so to make tuning as easy as possible, the tailpieces incorporate Wittner adjusters on all strings that make fine adjustments to pitch easy.
