The Guild Starfire I DC is a semi-hollow electric guitar that delivers legendary Guild tone and vintage-inspired style with modern performance features. Featuring a double-cutaway semi-hollow body with an arched top, this electric guitar offers excellent resonance and sustain, enhanced by a solid mahogany centre block that reduces feedback for reliable live performance. Designed for comfort and playability, the Modern Thin U-profile mahogany set neck and 24.75" scale length provide a smooth, familiar feel, while the Indian rosewood fingerboard ensures effortless fretting across all playing styles. The 18th fret neck joint allows easy access to higher frets, making it ideal for both rhythm and lead work. Equipped with Guild HB-2 humbucking pickups with Alnico II magnets, the Starfire I DC delivers warm, vintage-inspired PAF-style tone with clarity and depth. Dual volume and tone controls, combined with push/pull coil-split switches, provide a wide tonal range, from full humbucker power to bright single-coil-style sounds. Arched Mahogany Top with Solid Mahogany Center Block
This elegant semi-hollow instrument features an arched mahogany top and mahogany or maple back and sides (depending on finish), combined with a chambered mahogany center block that increases depth and sustain while reducing feedback when performing live.
Comfortable Neck and Fingerboard
The guitar's Modern Thin U-shape mahogany neck and Indian rosewood fingerboard, along with its 24.75" scale length, make it comfortable and easy to play. The 18th fret neck-to-body joint also provides easy access to the upper frets.
