The Guild Polara Kim Thayil signature electric guitar is a powerful tribute to the iconic sound and style of Kim Thayil of Soundgarden. Inspired by his legendary ’78 S-100, this solid body electric guitar combines vintage design with modern performance for players seeking classic tone and unmistakable attitude.

Built with a double-cutaway offset mahogany body and matching mahogany neck, the Polara delivers rich sustain and resonance, while the vintage Soft U neck profile and 24.75"" scale length provide a comfortable, familiar playing experience. An Indian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid block inlays and a large ’70s-style headstock complete the classic aesthetic. Black Gloss finish with gold hardware, this guitar stands out both visually and sonically.

Equipped with Guild HB-1 humbucking pickups featuring Alnico II magnets, the Polara produces a warm yet articulate tone with excellent clarity and depth.
