Inspired by Domingo Esteso, one of the most celebrated Spanish luthiers of the 20th century, the Luthier Select Esteso captures the lightweight build, responsiveness, and powerful projection of his renowned instruments. Developed through extensive study of Esteso’s guitars, this concert-level classical guitar is available with either a solid European spruce top for clarity and articulation or a solid Canadian cedar top for warmth and depth.
Delicately hand-carved spruce bracing enhances resonance and tonal balance, delivering the rich, full sound associated with Esteso’s legacy. Solid Pau Ferro back and sides provide the tonal character of rosewood while offering reduced weight and striking visual appeal. Premium design features include flamed maple binding and an intricate rosette with mother-of-pearl inlay, reflecting the craftsmanship found on Esteso’s finest instruments. Finished with an ultra-thin polyurethane coating to protect the guitar while maximising soundboard vibration, the Esteso model is built for professional performance. Supplied with a deluxe humidified archtop wood case, the Esteso CD (cedar top) and Esteso SP (spruce top) offer players a high-end classical guitar experience inspired by one of history’s greatest luthiers.
