The Guild OM-140CE acoustic-electric guitar is a versatile, mid-sized orchestra acoustic that’s equally suited to strumming and fingerpicking, delivering a sweet, balanced tone with excellent clarity. Built with a solid Sitka spruce top and solid African mahogany back and sides, it offers clear highs, warm lows, and a focused midrange, making it a great all-rounder for a wide range of playing styles.
The elegant cutaway design also provides easy access to higher frets, adding extra flexibility for lead work and expressive playing. Fitted with a discreet Guild/Fishman GT-1 pickup system, the OM-140CE delivers natural, studio-quality amplification, making it ideal for gigs, recording, and live performance. The comfortable OM body shape feels well-balanced, while the 1¾” nut width and vintage-shaped Guild neck ensure smooth, easy playability. Premium details include a bone nut and compensated bone saddle for improved sustain and tuning accuracy, along with a mother-of-pearl rosette, period-correct tortoiseshell pickguard, and Guild’s iconic Chesterfield headstock emblem inspired by 1960s models.
